Modbury Caring is here to help you

Need a lift to a medical appointment?
Need a friend for support and companionship?

Modbury Caring is a registered charity which was formed in 1998 and is run by a voluntary management committee.  Our aims are to provide services that benefit people in need who live in the area covered by Modbury Health Centre, especially the elderly and sick.  Our funding comes from members’ subscriptions and from donations; small grants from many parish councils and fund-raising events, including the “100 Club”, organising and taking part in fairs and fetes, street collections – and anything else we can think of!

For patients who have no other means of getting to and from the Health Centre, local hospitals and other medical appointments, such as dentists or opticians

A befriending service, providing regular visits and companionship to those who are isolated and/or living alone.

Our services are free however we need some funding to cover costs.  Can you help us?
